The Dwarf Corydoras (Corydoras pygmaeus) is one of the smallest representatives of the popular corydoras and is a wild-caught species from South America. With its delicate silver coloration and distinctive black lateral stripe, it is a real eye-catcher in planted nano and community aquariums.

This species is peaceful, social, and extremely active. In a school of at least ten individuals, the Dwarf Corydoras exhibits fascinating group behavior and constantly roams the lower and middle areas of the aquarium – much more actively swimming than other Corydoras species.
