Zebrasoma xanthurum - Red Sea Sailfin Tang

Care Information:

Expected adult size: up to 20cm
Recommended aquarium size: approx. 500 liters and up
Recommended water temperature: 22° to 28 °C
Recommended keeping method: Solitary. In large aquariums, several animals can be kept together.
Food: Algal growth, various frozen and flake foods, dried Nori algae
Special features: Easy to keep surgeonfish that gets along well with other tangs. There may be squabbles with other Zebrasoma species, so if possible, introduce them at the same time and of similar size. If adding a new one later, "the new one" should be slightly larger.
Significantly rarer in trade and much more expensive than other Zebrasoma species, as it is only found in the Red Sea. Now a small rarity and therefore not always in stock!
