Whitefin Panaque (Panaque bathyphilus) L90

The L090 Panaque bathyphilus is a large, robust armored catfish and highly valued by enthusiasts of special catfish species. With its massive physique, dark base coloration, and typical armor, it appears extremely archaic and impressive. This species is known for its strong attachment to bogwood, which forms an important part of its diet.

Panaque bathyphilus is predominantly crepuscular and nocturnal, preferring well-structured aquariums with plenty of bogwood and hiding places.
