Valenciennea wardii – Ward's Sleeper Goby (Pair)

Valenciennea wardii is an attractive partner goby that commonly lives in pairs in sandy lagoons and reef areas of the Indo-Pacific in the wild.

The species reaches a size of up to about 15 cm and sifts through the sand for small invertebrates and organic material. In a marine aquarium, it requires a fine sandy substrate and sufficient space for digging, and is particularly suitable for well-established reef aquariums.
