Lysmata debelius cardinal shrimp

The Lysmata debelius – also known as the Fire Shrimp – is a relatively easy shrimp to keep. Although it is a bit more reclusive than cleaner shrimp, it still offers a valuable enrichment for any aquarium. The debelius also cleans fish, but not as intensely as the more well-known cleaner shrimp. As with all shrimp, this one should also be slowly acclimated to new water to avoid stress.

We recommend keeping at least two animals in aquariums of 150 liters or more.
