Tomiyamichthys nudus – Scaleless Partner Goby

Tomiyamichthys nudus is a rarely kept dwarf goby from the coral reefs of the Western Indo-Pacific.

The species reaches a maximum length of about 3.5 cm and often lives in symbiosis with snapping shrimp of the genus Alpheus in the wild. I

n a saltwater aquarium, it prefers a fine sand bed and numerous hiding places, and readily accepts fine frozen food and small zooplankton.
