Taxiphyllum barbieri, better known as Java Moss, is one of the most popular and versatile aquarium mosses. It grows loosely branched, adapts to almost all conditions, and is excellently suited for attaching to roots, stones, and decorations, as well as for providing natural hiding places in the aquarium.
Due to its robustness, Java Moss is ideal for beginners, but it is also indispensable in the shrimp and aquascaping scene. It offers excellent retreats for fry and shrimp and contributes to the biological stability of the tank.
