Stichodactyla spp. – Carpet Anemone
The Stichodactyla species are among the largest and most impressive sea anemones in tropical seas. They originate from the Indo-Pacific, the Red Sea, and the coral reefs of the Indian Ocean and Western Pacific. With a diameter of up to 100 cm, they can grow into impressive eye-catchers in saltwater aquariums. Their densely packed tentacles provide a natural habitat for numerous clownfish species.

Final size: up to approx. 100 cm diameter (depending on species)
Temperature: 24–28 °C
Care: Medium to demanding
Special feature: Symbiosis with various clownfish species possible
Stable water parameters, strong lighting, and a well-established saltwater aquarium are required for long-term care.
