The Sterba's Corydoras (Corydoras sterbai) is one of the most popular and beautiful corydoras catfish. Its striking spotted pattern of white flecks on a dark brown background, as well as its bright orange pectoral fins, make it a true highlight in any aquarium.
It is peaceful, active, and gregarious and feels particularly comfortable in groups of six or more. The Sterba's Corydoras is ideal for planted aquariums with fine sand substrate, where it can display its typical foraging behavior on the bottom.
