Tailstripe Semaprochilodus – Semaprochilodus taeniurus

The Flag-Tailed Prochilodus (Semaprochilodus taeniurus) is an exceptional and very active schooling fish from South America. Particularly striking are the distinctive striped markings and the contrasting caudal fin, which give this elegant large characin an unmistakable appearance.
