The Archerfish is a fascinating species found in coastal, mangrove, and brackish/freshwater areas of Southeast Asia and Northern Australia.

Care Information:

• Size: Up to approx. 20–25 cm in aquarium keeping

• Water parameters: Temperature 24–28 °C, pH 7.0–8.5; slightly saline brackish water recommended

• Food: Insects, small crustaceans, live or frozen food; food can be shot over water

• Behavior: Surface-oriented; small groups possible, requires sufficient swimming space and a well-secured tank (prone to jumping)

The Archerfish is suitable for experienced aquarists with appropriate technical and setup knowledge.
