The Arnoldi Silver Dollar wild-caught (Myloplus arnoldi) is an impressive large characin from South America. With its high-backed, disc-shaped body, silvery shimmer, and subtle dark accents, this extraordinary wild-caught specimen is among the most striking schooling fish for large aquariums.
Kept in groups, Myloplus arnoldi displays calm but active behavior and primarily utilizes the middle water zones. Due to its elegant appearance and harmonious swimming behavior, this silver dollar is excellently suited for large South American and display aquariums.

🍽️ Feeding:
The Arnoldi Silver Dollar prefers plant-based food, supplemented with frozen food, fruits, vegetables, and high-quality granulated food. A varied diet supports growth and vitality.
💡 Tip:
Large open swimming areas and strong filtration are important for species-appropriate keeping. Soft plants are often eaten and are therefore only suitable to a limited extent.
