The Neon Blue Dwarf Snakehead originates from Northeast India (Assam) and impresses with its vibrant colors and compact size. Although it remains smaller than many other snakeheads, it is still a predatory fish with specific requirements.

Care Instructions:

• Adult Size: Up to approx. 20-25 cm

• Water Parameters: Temperature 22–28 °C; pH 6.0–7.5; soft to slightly medium water

• Food: Carnivorous – small fish, crustaceans, live or frozen food

• Behavior: Calmer than many large species of the genus, but still territorial; single keeping or well-planned in species tanks recommended

Keeping Notes:

• Aquarium with sufficient length and structure (at least approx. 120–150 cm edge length recommended)

• Many hiding places such as plants, roots or caves; calm environment

• Well-secured lid – snakeheads are prone to escape

• Suitable for experienced aquarists
