Pantanal Corydoras – Corydoras pantanalensis

The Pantanal Corydoras (Corydoras pantanalensis) originates from the famous Pantanal wetlands in Brazil and is one of the rarer species of the genus. It captivates with its metallic shimmering body in shades of gold and green as well as its elegant body shape.

This species is peaceful, active, and very sociable. In groups of at least six, the Pantanal Corydoras displays lively schooling behavior, providing movement and harmony at the bottom of the tank. It prefers a naturally arranged aquarium with fine sand substrate, plants, and shaded areas.
