Magnificent Firefish

The Nemateleotris magnifica is one of the most well-known and popular dartfish gobies in saltwater aquariums. With its slender, white body, yellow head area, and striking red-orange caudal fin, it is a real eye-catcher in any reef tank.

The firefish is a calm, mostly solitary fish that likes to hover over the reef and quickly disappears into its hiding places when in danger. It is ideal for smaller to medium reef aquariums with peaceful tank mates and many retreat options.
