The L205 (Peckoltia sp.) is an attractive, rare wild-caught specimen from the Rio Tapajós in Brazil. With its golden-brown base color and irregular dark stripes, it displays a lively, natural pattern that makes it a true eye-catcher in any South American aquarium. Its peaceful nature and compact size make it an ideal aquarium inhabitant – even for smaller tanks with structured furnishings.
The L205 is one of the calmer representatives of the Peckoltia genus. It likes to stay in roots, caves, or shady areas and is particularly active at dusk.

An aquarium with several caves, roots, and shady retreats offers ideal conditions. On a dark substrate, the golden-brown stripes of the L205 stand out particularly well.
