The L028 Angelicus Pleco (Hypancistrus sp. "L028") is an extremely rare and impressively patterned wild-caught fish from the Rio Tocantins in Brazil. Its high-contrast, black body with large, light spots is reminiscent of the well-known L136b or L201, but is even more intense and unique in its pattern.

The L028 Angelicus Pleco is a calm, crepuscular L-catfish that mostly stays in caves or under roots. It remains relatively compact with a maximum size of about 12–14 cm and is ideally suited for structured aquariums with other peaceful species.
