Frogbit - Limnobium laevigatum

Limnobium laevigatum is a decorative plant from South America that is particularly well-suited for open-top aquariums but also for traditional aquariums. The fine, long, and decorative roots offer protection for surface fish, which like to hide among the roots of floating plants. If there are sufficient nutrients in the water and the light intensity is good, new leaves will grow 1-5 cm above the water surface.
