The Dwarf Pufferfish originates from freshwater in India. With its small size and striking appearance, it makes an interesting inhabitant for experienced aquarists.

Care Instructions:

• Size: Max. approx. 3–4 cm

• Water parameters: Temperature 22–28 °C; pH 7.0–8.5; Total hardness GH 5–20 °dGH

• Food: Snails, small crustaceans, mosquito larvae; important for dental care

• Behavior: Territorial, solitary; solitary keeping recommended, small groups only with sufficient hiding places

The Dwarf Pufferfish requires a well-structured tank with many hiding places and retreats. It is only suitable for experienced aquarists.
