This cleaner goby is active, alert, and displays friendly social behavior. With its slender body and striking blue longitudinal stripe, it adds a lively yet natural splash of color to the reef aquarium. As a captive-bred specimen, Elacatinus evelynae is particularly robust, readily accepts food, and is more resistant to stress, which greatly facilitates acclimatization.
It prefers to stay near its established station and offers cleaning services to other fish – an exciting and natural behavior directly in your tank.
Advantages of captive breeding:
• Very good acclimatization
• Reliably eats frozen and dry food
• Sustainable alternative to wild-caught specimens
• Peaceful and social
Care:
• Suitable for almost any well-established reef tank
• Prefers peaceful tank mates
• Ideally kept as a pair or small group
• Many small hiding places in the rockwork
An active, useful, and uncomplicated cleaner goby – and as a captive-bred specimen, a particularly recommended choice.
