The Twospined Angelfish displays an intense play of colors, from vibrant orange to deep violet. In the aquarium, it appears lively but not frantic, adding a strong, warm splash of color to the reef structure. As a captive-bred specimen, this Centropyge bispinosa is particularly valuable: robust, eats well, and less susceptible to stress than wild-caught fish. This makes acclimatization usually problem-free.

It enjoys using reef structures, caves, and crevices, swimming calmly among the structures, and integrates well into peaceful reef aquariums.

Advantages of captive breeding:
• Stable, robust animals
• Reliably accepts frozen and dry food
• More sustainable alternative to wild-caught fish
• Relaxed and easily observable behavior

Care:
• Well-established reef aquarium
• Lots of structure and hiding places
• Peaceful tank mates preferred
• Observe coral compatibility individually

A color-intensive, lively dwarf angelfish – and as a captive-bred specimen, a particularly recommended choice.
