Pom-pom crab (Lybia tesselata)

The Lybia tesselata, also known as the pom-pom crab or boxer crab, is a small, fascinating crab from the Indo-Pacific. It is particularly known for the "pom-pom" anemones it carries in its claws and actively uses for defense and feeding.

Temperature range:
24–28 °C (tropical marine aquarium)

Note:
Very peaceful, but small and delicate. Requires fine substrate, many hiding places and a well-established reef aquarium.
