The Black Arrow Tetra (Inpaichthys kerri) is an elegant and particularly popular schooling fish from South America. Its shimmering dark body coloration with the distinctive black longitudinal band gives it a noble appearance that comes into its own particularly well in planted aquariums.
In a school, the Black Arrow Tetra exhibits lively but peaceful behavior and brings a lot of dynamism to the aquarium. Due to its robust nature, it is suitable for both beginners and experienced aquarists and harmonizes excellently with other peaceful tetra species and dwarf cichlids.

The Black Arrow Tetra readily accepts fine frozen food, Artemia, Cyclops, as well as high-quality flake and granulate food. A varied diet promotes vitality and color intensity.

Dark substrate and slightly subdued lighting particularly highlight the metallic sheen and the distinctive black band.
