The Berghia nudibranch (Aeolidiella stephanieae), also known as the Aiptasia-eating nudibranch, is a saltwater slug previously known as Berghia verrucicornis. It is native to the USA, Africa, Brazil, and the Western Atlantic.

These slugs reach a body length of about two centimeters, with adult specimens able to grow up to four centimeters long.

Regarding their diet, the Berghia nudibranch is a specialist feeder and exclusively eats Aiptasia, also known as glass roses.

Due to this characteristic, it helps in controlling Aiptasia. Interestingly, young Berghia nudibranchs prefer to feed in smaller groups, but this preference diminishes as the animals age.
