Anubias nana ‘Mbuna S’ is a particularly compact and robust cultivated form of the classic Anubias nana. It was specially developed for hardy aquarium concepts and is ideally suited for community tanks, cichlid tanks (e.g. Mbuna), and for aquarists looking for a long-lasting, low-maintenance plant.
The plant forms short leaf stems and firm, dark green leaves, which are largely ignored by plant-nibbling fish. Like all Anubias, it grows slowly and can either be attached to hardscape or decoratively placed between stones. The rhizome should not be buried.
