Anubias barteri is one of the most popular and robust epiphyte plants for aquariums. It features strong, leathery, dark green leaves and impresses with its enormous adaptability. In this variant, it is supplied already tied to a natural root, making it ready for immediate use.

In the aquarium, Anubias barteri is not planted in the substrate but placed on hardscape. The rhizome must not be buried in the substrate, as it can rot. Placed on a root, it grows slowly but very stably and is ideal for the midground, shady areas, and tanks with lower lighting. Due to its robustness, it is perfect for beginners, shrimp, and cichlid tanks.
