The Amblyeleotris guttata is an attractive, peaceful goby species from the Indo-Pacific, particularly interesting due to its typical symbiosis with pistol shrimp. Its slender body with characteristic spots makes it a subtle yet exciting inhabitant in a reef aquarium.

The Spotted Watchman Goby prefers to live in sandy areas where it shares a burrow with a pistol shrimp. This symbiosis ensures very natural behavior in the aquarium. An ideal species for structured reef tanks with sand zones and peaceful tank mates.
