ALBINO Silver Arowana (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum)

The Albino Arowana is an extraordinary cultivated form of the South American Silver Arowana, captivating with its luminous white to cream-colored base, red eyes, and elegant, gliding swimming style. Despite the lack of pigmentation, the impressive appearance of this bonytongue remains fully intact, making it a true eye-catcher in large aquariums.

Osteoglossum bicirrhosum is an active surface predator with pronounced hunting behavior and requires ample swimming space and very stable water quality. A well-covered aquarium is essential, as Arowanas are very prone to jumping. Due to their final size, this species is only suitable for experienced keepers.
